I grew up in Plainfield. I currently live in Oswego. I graduated from Aurora University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I did most of my classwork in the Aurora School Districts. This will be my third year teaching in the Plainfield School District at Liberty. I graduated from Plainfield High School and I've known I've wanted to teach in the district since then. I have had 2 wonderful experiences in other Plainfield Elementary Schools. I was a Teacher's Assistant for two and half years at Creekside Elementary. I worked in a K/1 split classroom and also various 2nd grade classrooms. Then I student taught in a 2nd grade classroom at Eagle Pointe Elementary. The experiences I have had in Plainfield have made me feel welcome.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to scrapbook, work out, golf, and spend time with my puppy, Frankie. He is a beagle/terrier mix who keeps me on my toes! I love trying out all sports. I also enjoy watching sports, including the Bears, Florida Gators, Blackhawks, and the Cubs. I enjoy going to Cubs and Wolves games.
