Grading

• Reading, Language Arts, Science, and Spelling will be assessed using the  familiar grading scale:

          A 90%-100%
          B 80%-89%
          C 70%-79%
          D 60%-69%
          F 59% and below

 Outcome Assessments

• Outcome assessments in Math will count as 70% of your child’s grade. Science, Social Studies and Language Arts will also count towards your child’s grades.  Prior tests and study guides can be used to review for outcome assessments.  You may want to start a test file at home!  You will be notified of upcoming assessments via the weekly newsletter.
   
• Science, Social Studies and Language Arts outcomes will be given toward the end of each quarter. 

• One math outcome will be given in 2nd quarter, two outcomes will be given in 3rd quarter and three outcomes in 4th quarter.
