Social Studies
- Throughout the year, we will learn about communities of the past and present. Students will learn about key concepts and vocabulary, as well as learn how to read maps, charts, graphs, and tables. We also study the history of Plainfield, Illinois.
Science
- Our science book was designed exclusively for our district to align with the Illinois State Standards for science. We will examine relationships among animals and their environment, the main bodies of the solar system, and Earth’s features and how Earth has changed over time. We will also analyze natural weather patterns as well as the water cycle.
